Andrew Jennings is a Certified Public Accountant and Tax Manager at Shaw & Nielsen, PC. He has 10 years of experience providing bookkeeping, tax compliance, tax consulting, and other accounting services. Prior to joining Shaw & Nielsen, Andrew worked several years for one of the Big 4 accounting firms in Salt Lake City and then worked for a few years at another local firm here in Bountiful.
Andrew specializes in working with small businesses and their owners as their trusted advisor. His experience includes preparing and reviewing tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, and Trusts. He has worked with clients in many different industries including Real Estate, Land Development, Retail, Food & Beverage, Private Equity, Construction, HVAC, and others.
Andrew graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelors in Accounting and Master of Accountancy degrees from the University of Utah. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants and enjoys staying up to date on all the latest tax and accounting standards.
Andrew is a Davis County native and enjoys his hobbies of golf, tennis, and cycling. He and his wife have four kids and enjoy taking family road trips to Bear Lake, St. George, and Disneyland.
